View/PReS

View/PReS is an archive retrieval and viewing system for industry standard JPEG, TIFF, BMP or PDF image types, as well as for PAX/PAF files (created with Archive/PReS). 

You can view and print an archived document by searching on up to 9 keys across multiple databases, thus enabling on-demand printing.

View/PReS has a Client/Server architecture and is available in both MS SQL and Oracle versions on Windows, UNIX or Linux platforms (all viewing clients use Windows only).

View/PReS is an application which allows documents to be archived without the need for hardcopies. The archive files are stored in an SQL database and can be retrieved in workgroup environments with simultaneous access. Everyone who has access to the archive can reprint any page stored in the database on any standard Windows printer. This easy to operate, fully PC-based retrieval system minimises costs and allows centralised archive management even in situations where people in different locations need to access the print archive. Notes can also be attached to any stored page and allow a flow of information for pages that have already been accessed.

An Integration Module is available to enable full integration in corporate working environments as well as unattended command line driven batch operation.

Long term archives can be stored on any medium and reopened without the need for the retrieval software to be installed.
